Karol G Turned Lumen Field Into One Giant Tropical Party: Seattle Recap

Seattle doesn't get a ton of reggaetón royalty rolling through, so when Karol G brought her Viajando por el mundo, Tropitour to Lumen Field on August 26, 2026, the city showed up ready. This stop landed in the middle of a run that took the tour from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara straight up the coast to Seattle before heading back down to Glendale and San Antonio — and by the time the Bichota touched down at Lumen, the show was firing on all cylinders.
Becky G Warms Up the Crowd
Becky G opened the night, and given that she and Karol G share a hit together ("MAMIII"), it was clear early on this wasn't just a random opening slot — it was two friends on the same wavelength. She had the crowd moving before the sun even fully dropped behind the stadium, setting up exactly the kind of high-energy, all-Latina lineup that made the night feel like an event rather than just a concert.
Karol G Takes Over
Karol G didn't ease into it. She opened with "LATINA FOREVA," immediately setting the tone before rolling into "Un gatito me llamó" and "OKI DOKI." From there the setlist moved like a mixtape built for maximum crowd participation — "QLONA," "S91," "Tropicoqueta," and "Papasito" all landed early, keeping the pace relentless.
She dipped into a cover of "Tá OK" (originally by DENNIS & MC Kevin o Chris) and brought out the MAMIII collab live with the crowd still buzzing from Becky G's set. Mid-show, things slowed just enough to breathe with "Amiga Mía,""Ese hombre es malo," and the aching "Alguien que te amaba," before snapping back into party mode with "Verano rosa" and "BbY WOW."
The Moment Everyone Will Remember
Every Karol G show has a moment that goes viral before you've even left the parking lot, and Seattle's came when she pulled fans up on stage to dance during the set. Out of the group, one fan in a bright, feather-covered parrot bikini absolutely stole the show — dancing like she'd rehearsed the choreography for weeks, working every camera in the building, and getting Karol G herself visibly cracking up and hyping her on. For a tour literally called the Tropitour, a parrot-print, tropical-as-it-gets fit dancing centerstage felt almost too perfectly on theme. Phones went up across the stadium, and it's safe to say that fan left Lumen Field with more Instagram tags than she walked in with.
Deep Cuts, Interludes, and Fan Requests
This is where the show really separated itself from a standard arena run-through. Karol G threaded in a taped interlude of "A Su Boca La Amo" before diving into "GATÚBELA" and the fan-favorite heartbreak anthem "AMARGURA." A dancer-led interlude set to Cris MJ's "Una noche en Medellín" gave the stage crew a chance to show off before Karol came back out swinging with "BICHOTA" and "Tusa" — two of the songs that built her career in the first place.
The back half leaned emotional and personal: "Coleccionando heridas" and "Si antes te hubiera conocido" brought the energy down into something more intimate before she pulled the night back up with "200 COPAS," which she played as a genuine fan request, giving the show that unscripted, in-the-room feeling. She closed things out with "PROVENZA," sending Seattle home sweaty, sunburned (it was late August, after all), and thoroughly serenaded.
The Verdict
Across a 33-song set stacked with hits from Tropicoqueta, Mañana Será Bonito, KG0516, and beyond, Karol G proved once again why she's one of the biggest live draws in Latin music right now. The production was big-stadium polished, but the night still had room for spontaneity — a fan request here, a costume-stealing dance partner there — that made it feel less like a stop on a tour and more like a party Seattle just happened to be invited to.
