Seattle, get ready — el Rey del Reggaetón is coming to the Emerald City. Don Omar is bringing "The Last King World Tour" to Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday, February 7, 2027, one of the new dates added after the tour's first run sold out across the country. For a generation of fans in the PNW who grew up on his records, this is the one to circle on the calendar.
A Tour That Keeps Growing
The Last King World Tour kicked off this past September in Reading, Pennsylvania, and quickly became one of the hottest tickets in Latin music this year. Orlando, Miami and Los Angeles sold out within hours. In June, Don Omar and promoter Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN) answered the demand with a 2027 leg that adds more U.S. arenas, the tour's first-ever Canadian shows and, finally, a stop in the Northwest.
The demand isn't a surprise. His last U.S. run, the 2024 Back to Reggaeton Tour, grossed more than $40.6 million from over 350,000 tickets sold, according to box office figures reported to Pollstar.
Twenty Years After King of Kings
This tour lands two decades after King of Kings, the 2006 album that helped take reggaetón from Puerto Rico to the world. William Omar Landrón Rivera has spent the years since building one of the most decorated careers in Latin urban music — multi-platinum albums, Latin GRAMMY wins and billions of streams — while also stepping into acting and even racing. Premio Lo Nuestro honored him with its Global Icon Award, and after a health scare he shared publicly that he is cancer-free. Seeing him back on an arena stage means a lot to the people who've been riding with him since the beginning.
The tour is led and produced by Don Omar himself, and the title says it all: this is about legacy, and about reminding everyone who helped build the genre.
What to Expect
The tour promises a world-class arena production built around the songs that shaped Latin urban music globally. Fans can count on the classics highlighted by the tour: Danza Kuduro, Dale Don Dale, Salió El Sol and Bandoleros.
Expect a true multi-generational crowd: parents who danced to Dale Don Dale at quinceañeras and weddings, and their kids who first heard Danza Kuduro in a movie theater or at a Mariners game. It's nostalgia at full volume, with arena-sized visuals to match. And if you're shooting this one, bring fast glass — reggaetón crowds don't stand still, and neither does the King.
Why This Matters for the PNW
The 2027 leg routes Sacramento (Feb. 5) → Seattle (Feb. 7) → San Diego (Feb. 10), and Seattle is the only Pacific Northwest stop — no Portland date has been announced. That makes Climate Pledge Arena the spot for fans from Tacoma to Bellingham, and the closest show for our people in Yakima, the Tri-Cities and across Eastern Washington. It's a Sunday night show, so plan for the Monday morning and the drive back over the pass if you're coming from the east side.
Getting there: Climate Pledge Arena event tickets include free transit on participating local routes — check the arena's transportation page before you go and skip the Seattle Center parking scramble.
