Andrea Bejar Opens Kevin Kaarl’s Ultra Sodade Tour with Poise and Power
July 25 – Showbox SoDo, Seattle WA
Seattle got a beautiful surprise this past Friday night. Before Kevin Kaarl took the stage for his Ultra Sodade Tour stop at Showbox SoDo, the audience was treated to an opening performance by Andrea Bejar, and she made the most of every second.
Andrea walked onstage with calm focus and immediately pulled the room into her orbit. With soft lighting and a stripped-down setup, her voice took center stage. From the first song, there was a sense that this wasn’t just a warm-up act. She had something to say, and she knew exactly how to say it.
Her vocals carried emotional weight without being overdone. Every note felt intentional. There was no excess, no filler. Just clean musicianship and heartfelt delivery. She moved between melancholy ballads and more rhythmic, upbeat moments with ease, letting her voice stretch and shift without ever losing control.
What stood out most was how easily she connected with the crowd. Between songs, Andrea spoke candidly, letting her personality show through in quick stories and comments. It added dimension to the performance and made the room feel smaller in the best way.
The audience responded in kind. People who had walked in just hoping to see Kevin Kaarl found themselves quietly captivated, phones tucked away, listening. When her final song ended, the applause was loud and genuine.
Andrea Bejar set the tone for the night in a way that felt thoughtful and deliberate. Her performance didn’t need to be flashy to leave a lasting impression. She brought craft, presence, and heart to the stage and earned every bit of attention she received.
Special thanks to Andrea’s management team for giving us the opportunity to cover this show.
