Seattle, get ready for a night of the songs that soundtracked a generation of love and heartbreak. Grammy-winning Jesse & Joy are opening a new chapter with "El Amor de México," a brand-new tour led by Joy Huerta, and it's coming to the Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, April 13, 2027. Portland gets its night one day later, Wednesday, April 14, at Keller Auditorium.
A New Chapter, Led by Joy
This is a different kind of Jesse & Joy show. According to Live Nation, "El Amor de México" is a newly conceived live production led exclusively by Joy, built to honor more than two decades of the duo's music. Her brother Jesse Eduardo Huerta Uecke will not appear or participate in this tour, as he has publicly announced, and the tour artwork carries the same note.
What stays the same is the catalog. Joy's voice has been at the heart of these songs from the start, and this tour puts it front and center for the fans who have carried this music with them through every breakup, reunion and road trip.

What to Expect
Live Nation says the show brings together the greatest hits from the duo's career. Fan favorites named for the tour include Dueles, 3 A.M., Ecos de Amor, La de la Mala Suerte, Ya No Quiero, Me Soltaste, Chocolate, ¿Con Quién Se Queda el Perro?, ¡Corre!, Te Esperé and Espacio Sideral.
The new production also leans into the sounds and spirit of traditional Mexican music, its roots, its passion and that unmistakably Mexican way of singing about love. The tour describes it as a chance for those living far from home to feel a little closer to Mexico. For a lot of families here in the Northwest, that hits close.
Why This Matters for the PNW
The Paramount is one of the best rooms in the city for a voice-driven show like this, intimate enough that every word of ¡Corre! comes back at the stage. Expect a crowd that spans generations: people who grew up with these songs on the radio, and the kids and parents they're bringing along.
The routing gives the whole Northwest options. The tour hits Vancouver, BC on Monday, April 12 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Seattle on Tuesday, April 13, and Portland on Wednesday, April 14. If you're coming from Yakima or the Tri-Cities, Seattle is the closest stop. Just plan for a weeknight drive back over the pass.
