One of the biggest names in regional Mexican music is heading back on the road. Latin GRAMMY winners and GRAMMY nominees Grupo Frontera have officially announced their upcoming “Triste Pero Bien Cabrón Tour,” a 27 date run across the United States that will bring the band to major arenas nationwide this summer.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour marks one of the most ambitious U.S. runs in the group’s career so far. The band will make stops in major markets including Texas, California, Arizona, Illinois, and Florida before heading to the Pacific Northwest for a performance in Seattle.

Seattle Date

Fans in the Pacific Northwest will have the chance to see the group live when they stop at WAMU Theater in Seattle on August 16.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. local time through Live Nation, with several presale opportunities available ahead of the general on sale.

A Tour Inspired by Their Latest Era

The tour takes its name from the track “Triste Pero Bien C*brón,” their collaboration with Myke Towers from their latest album Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar. The phrase reflects a recurring theme in the band’s music: acknowledging heartbreak while continuing forward with resilience and confidence.

That emotional honesty, combined with their signature blend of norteño and cumbia influences, has helped Grupo Frontera become one of the defining groups in the new wave of regional Mexican music.

Continued Momentum for Grupo Frontera

The announcement arrives at a major moment for the Texas based band. Grupo Frontera recently earned their first two GRAMMY nominations in the category of Best Música Mexicana Album for their EPs Y Lo Que Viene and Mala Mía (the latter alongside Fuerza Regida).

In addition to their award recognition, the group continues to expand their global reach through collaborations with major artists including Bad Bunny, Maluma, Christian Nodal, Carin León, Ozuna, and Shakira. Their rise has also translated to the live stage, where sold out tours and festival appearances have made them one of the most in demand acts in the genre today.

With 27 U.S. dates confirmed and international stops across Latin America and Europe, the “Triste Pero Bien Cabrón Tour” is shaping up to be one of the biggest regional Mexican tours of the year.

Fans in Seattle can expect an energetic show filled with fan favorites and songs from the band’s newest era when Grupo Frontera takes the stage at WAMU Theater this August.
